Mama Tembo Cheza guesthouse in Lusaka is a personal introduction to Zambia for both leisure and business travellers. We follow still-rural back roads from the airport to Cheza’s Leopard’s Hill/State Lodge Road location, a journey to a natural haven which begins from the moment we introduce ourselves outside the baggage hall.
Cheza is Lusaka-based MTT Safaris’ private guest cottage on the company’s wooded plot. In a fast-developing city, we value our established trees and the bird species and wildlife they support.
We enjoy unobscured stars on clear nights and the calls of nightjars, owls, and bushbabies. We welcome any of our guests to join us for sundowners and for dinner around our fire pit.
A one-bedroom cottage, Cheza is ideal for individuals and couples. A queen sleeper bed in the lounge provides for friends traveling together. A healthy breakfast and homemade baking for morning coffees and afternoon teas are included in the room rate. Other meals are arranged upon request. There is a fully equipped kitchen for self-caterers.
Other excellent reasons for choosing Cheza as your Lusaka accommodation of choice are a full-sized desk and wireless; an inverter and battery for power cuts; secure parking for self-drivers; and laundry services and daily housekeeping. We provide airport transfers 24/7. A vehicle and driver are available for Lusaka half or full day city tours or for any business meetings in town. For MTT safari guests leaving to explore Zambia by road, their vehicle is waiting on site. It’s as simple as that.
