A collaboration between its new owners, Chichele Safaris, and the Cumings Family of Chiawa Camp & Old Mondoro – the reimagined Puku Ridge is situated on one of the South Luangwa National Park’s prime sites and offers unparalleled standards of hospitality and safari guiding, with a strong emphasis and record on conservation and community.
Each of Puku Ridge’s 8 luxury safari tents are set on an elevated ridge overlooking plain and woodlands, full of wildlife.
Elements from the Luangwa bush camps of old have been combined with traditional village life and authentic, local art works complement crucial creature comforts make Puku Ridge a must for any Zambian safari.
A super-king or large twin bed configuration for the ultimate sleep with air conditioning (which is a rare and welcome luxury in the Luangwa valley) and overhead fans, all within a stylish take on the mosquito net.
Ensuite facilities include a private w.c. and indoor shower plus “his & hers” washbasins and huge bathtub with view.
